Doon Theological Journal subscribes to the foundational doctrines of the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scripture, including the following:
We believe:-
* In one God, eternally existent in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
* In Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, his deity, his sinless life, his vicarious and atoning sacrificial death, his resurrection, his ascension, intercession, and in his second coming.
* In the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity, our counselor and helper who makes the work of Christ effective to individual sinners, who enables them to turn to God from their sin and to trust in Jesus Christ.
* In the Holy Bible, the inspired and infallible Word of God, the supreme authority and guide in all matters pertaining to belief and practice.
* In the fall and depravity of humanity which made them subject to the wrath of God and condemnation. Sinful human beings are redeemed from sin only by the grace of God through faith in the person and the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
* In the one Holy Universal Church, the Body of Christ, which is commissioned for its global mission, to preach the gospel, to bear witness unto Christ, to make disciples among all peoples, to promote and work towards the establishment of peace and justice in God’s world.
